This herdsire is stunning! 1/4 Accoyo, originating from California, he brings to the table genetics not commonly found here on the East Coast, not to mention his rare appaloosa pattern, which he has been shown to throw in his cria (producing a spotted cria when bred to a solid dam this summer). The spots you see on his fleece are not all he has. After he was shorn this past year, it was discovered he has a lot more and a heart shaped spot on his shoulder!! His fiber has beautiful crimp, handle, and generous staple length. His bite is excellent. Yes, Iben Spotted is “spot-taculer” from stem to stern. His micron count in 2007: 20.6/4.5/21.7/96.9 CF Curve 43.3 and he sheared almost 7lbs this past shearing in 2010. He is a very dense boy with good coverage and with his gentle nature, he has alot to bring to your herd!
